Since it is my area, I would also like to see a common shock oil, the most of them are very close to brake fluid. Again, nice job.

Hey brother, can I ask you after driving the N2 for a while, would you say there is a break in period and the exhaust calms down a little? I'd really, really appreciate if anyone could tell me. I just got it and I feel like the cabin drone is pretty strong.

I've been rebuilding engines for 50yrs. , and never once used assembly lube, just motor oil . Also before I ever start a rebuild, I turn it over with the starter , until I see the oil flowing out of the block somewhere. The key to a good rebuild is laboratory cleanliness, and good clearances.

While I love 3D printing and I own 2 printers that are kept busy most of the time, a better solution for gasket cutting is a machine like a Silhouette Cameo or Cricut and get the sheet gasket material and cut with these inexpensive machines. There are people that sell gaskets for old chainsaws and small engines made on these machines, since it's the proper material and you can cut a gasket in a few minutes it just makes more sense unless you only need the 1 and never again.

missing a HUGE factor - temperature. Yeah, the materials can resist various chemicals but break down at engine temps so you can't use 3d printed gaskets anywhere it gets hot like coolant gaskets and stuff on the block.

C clamp like that risks marring up the head gasket surface on the head.. the cloth technique works if you stop the valve from moving and use a rubber hammer and piece of wood that fits inside the hole. Just hit the cloth or baggie..

can I do this without taking the engine out of the car and can i do it on a stock block?

Rod knock happens because your bearings are worn and the rod and piston are sloppily flopping around. No amount of oil changes or magic chemicals will fix it. You need an engine rebuild.

No prep or sand at all ?

The gaskets would only work between plastic parts, could you temp check those gaskets after the fact?

Did you have an issue with your clock spring after the install?

Someone reversed right into my driver side door on my 6month old honda accord and I had to have it replaced. It was replaced by a Honda body shop with a OEM Honda door and it sounds like shit now. it lost that nice sturdy sound and now sounds like its a hollow tin can. its driving me nuts to be honest, more so because its a new car. I think im just going to go to the body shop that did my repairs and hope they get what i mean. Was your door replaced? Also i know water does get in the door and drains out the bottom, does it effect the sound proofing stickers you installed??

I just had my door-refaced by a shop and they seemed to ignore what I was saying that the door sounded hollow... and annoying. I asked, should I fill it with Great Stuff? ahaha....
